XXI International Conference on Chemical Reactors CHEMREACTOR 21 will be held in Delft, The Netherlands.

Delft is a city and municipality in the province of South Holland, the Netherlands.  It is located between two larger cities - north of Rotterdam and east of The Hague. Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) is the largest and the oldest university of technology in the Netherlands. It was founded as academy for civil engineering in 1842 by King William II. Today well over 16,000 students live and study in Delft. In 2013 the University has been ranked 10th in the field of chemical engineering by the QS World University Rankings.

 

Delft is a charming city, glorified by the works of the famous Dutch painter, Johannes Vermeer. It is primarily known for its historic town center with picturesque canals and bridges, as well as for the “Delft Blue”, the world-famous earthenware that has been produced in the city of Delft since the 17th century. The city center has retained a large number of monumental buildings, churches and chapels. Delft can be reached in ca. 45 minutes by train from Amsterdam.
