Direct and inverse problems of nonlinear 3D-magnetoelasticity

We study the propagation of elastic and electromagnetic waves in elastic conductive 3D-media governed by the Lamé and Maxwell equations coupled through nonlinear magnetoelastic effect. We prove the existence and uniqueness results both for the direct problem and inverse one, which consists in identifying the unknown scalar function f(t) in the elastic force f(t)g(x,t) acting on an elastic conductive body when some additional measurement is available.
