Sink nodes location in wireless sensor network
The problem of optimal sink nodes placement in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is considered in this paper. We propose various approaches for sink nodes placement in WSNs. We’ve obtained sinks placement method which minimizes time of message delivery from sensors to nearest sinks. Another sinks placement method allows minimize energy consumption while transmitting messages from sensors to sinks. These problems have been formulated as problems of P-median and P-center location. Also, we propose the method of sinks placement method which maximizes WSN reliability.
