The SGEM events date back in 2001, so next year we will celebrate 15 years of these. Over the past years, we have established high standards in publishing research papers, stimulating their progress and achievements. Papers are approved by the Review Committee, and will be published into the SGEM CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS (ABSTRACTS+FULL PAPERS) (ISSN: 1314-2704) indexed by ISI Web of Knowledge, Web of Science, CrossRef, ProQuest, EBSCO, Google Scholar and also submitted for evaluation to SCOPUS database.
Forwarding our tradition, SGEM considers questions concerned to Geology and Mining, Oil and Gas, Geodesy, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, GIS, Informatics, Geoinformatics, Micro and Nanotechnologies, Water resources, Air and Climate, Ecosystems, Soils, Renewable Energy, Environmental Protection, Environmental Economics, Nano and Bio Technologies, Green Buildings Design and Architecture.
The conference will be organized in Workshops and Invited Sessions that will be held as a parallel to the conference oral presentations sessions. These are additional opportunities for SGEM participants to exchange views and to learn about best practice in environmental researches application and management. The concurrent SGEM Expo, related to the conference topics, is another excellent opportunity to promote company and to meet potential clients and business partners. All the sessions are accompanied with various social events to make the conference a pleasant experience in all aspects.
All theoretical, methodological and conceptual reports presenting contemporary geoscience development and problems solving ideas are expected with a great interest. Special attention will be given to reports, proposing science based ideas for decision-making and adaptation to the new reality of global changes. During Official Award Ceremony that will be on the last day, authors of the Best presentations (Oral/PhD/Poster) will be awarded by the Scientific Committee with special crystal plaques
