In two years passed since the time of the 2nd Workshop the dramatic development brought together combinatorics inspired by matrix models and by the equations of the cut-and-join type resulting in constructing generating functions of many algebraic-geometrical invariants including the Hurwitz numbers and symplectic invariants. At the same time, the combinatorial description of moduli spaces of Riemann surfaces and related quantization topics together with the related issues in cluster algebras continue to thrive, including generalizations to algebras of higher rank and investigating the related algebraic structures. Although it was always the general belief that these two fields are related more closely than was anticipated, no solid evidence was provided until the very recent development in the description of hyperbolic knots and related dualities
