Income and expenditure books of the XVII century. as a source of trade and craft activities of employees military service people

Income and expenditure books of Siberian cities and ostrogs of the XVII century are a relatively little-studied type of written documentary source. At the same time, they provide the most important material about the development of craft and trade activities of the population of uezds and uezds centers. For example, information obtained from the study of the Income and expenditure books of the Yeniseisk ostrog, the article presents the facts of participation of representatives of various social groups of the population of the Yeniseisk ostrog and Yeniseisk uezd in commercial transactions conducted on the initiative of the Yeniseisk uezd administration, which solved the problem of securing ammunition (gunpowder), organization of transportation of supplies along the rivers, in the execution of various works required for the strengthening of fortifications of the Yeniseisk ostrog. Information on receipts and expenditure books for different years makes it possible to track the development of certain types of craft in Yeniseisk, to note the dynamics and determine trends, including the participation of representatives of various social groups in this activity. Comparison of this information with various socio-political events that took place in Siberia during the XVII century, allows you to find out and clarify the actions of the administration aimed at solving the tasks assigned to it by higher authorities, determine the participation of individual voivodes in solving these problems. The information obtained during the study of the contents of the receipts and expenditure books makes it possible to compare them with the results of archaeological research conducted in 2013 - 2016 on the territory of the city of Yeniseisk. This demonstrates the possibility of mutual addition and refinement of archival materials obtained by historians and artifacts discovered by archaeologists in the formation of concepts.
