ABSTRACT: Abstract: the article deals with some issues of bone-working craft in the settlement of Chernyatino-2 in Primorye, a multi-layer monument located in the basin of the Razdolnaya river. The settlement existed within three cultural and historical periods: the early iron age (VIII century BC - III century ad);the early middle ages of the Mohe period (V-VII centuries);the middle ages of the Bohai state (698-926). The entire array of artifacts on the subject under study for all the years of studying the monument is presented. There are new series of blanks, each of which has its own specific features both in morphological structure and in the method of production. The first series consists of two groups that differ in size characteristics, in the shape of the working surface, but coincide with each other in the method of selecting the main part of the workpiece on one side. The second series has a two-way way to highlight the work surface, it is the smallest. The third series is interesting in terms of species diversity. The fourth series of billets is typical for the Bohai monuments of Primorye. It allows you to trace all stages of production from the workpiece to the known products. Techniques and methods of surface treatment, the tools used, the possible purpose and application of some products are considered. The population living in Bohai time on the settlement of Chernyatino-2, used the waste of commercial hunting to create various crafts from bone and horn. Numerous osteological material of wild animals testifies to the availability of natural resources of the environment. Materials are published for the first time.
