VII All–Russian Conference with Foreign Participants
“Free Boundary Problems: Theory, Experiment and Applications”

Krasnoyarsk, Russia, July 1-4, 2020

Free boundary problems are characterized by their rich content and a variety of applications: from technological processes to the environmental problems and problems of efficient nature management. In 2002, 2005, 2008, 2011 and 2014 in Biisk there were held five conferences devoted to free boundary problems. In 2017, the conference was hosted by Altai State University in Barnaul. There participated scientists from over 20 organizations from 12 Russian cities as well as scientists from foreign countries. Informal cooperation of mathematicians and physicists, theorists and experimentalists contributed to enrichment of conference subjects and establishment of professional contacts.

It is planned to publish a book of abstracts and selected papers in the journals "Interfacial Phenomena and Heat Transfer" and "Journal of Siberian Federal University. Mathematics & Physics" after the peer-review procedure in accordance with the rules of these journals.

Lectures of leading scientists (40 minutes planar reports), 20 minutes oral talks, as well as poster presentations are planned. There are no parallel sessions.

The working languages of the conference are Russian and English.

Conference Topics:
• Mathematical methods
• Surface and internal waves. Stratified flows
• Fluid-structure interaction
• Wave motion of thin films. Thermocapillary convection
• Phase transitions in moving media
• Processes of interphase interaction in heterogeneous systems
• MHD and EHD flows with a free surface
• Technological applications
