Fishes, staying on their tailes

The article, dedicated to the theme "fish standing on their tails", is the beginning of the study of virtually unexplored plot, known in ancient, medieval and traditional art of Eurasia. Preliminary conclusions point to two semantic components. One of them is connected with the theme of marriage, the second  - theme of the death, the afterlife and the magical link of the real and otherworldly worlds.
