XXIII International Scientific Symposium
will be held
"INTEGRATION OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND ETHNOGRAPHIC RESEARCH"


The symposium is dedicated to the 380th anniversary of the birth of Semyon Ulyanovich Remezov (1642–1720) and the 95th anniversary of the birth of Vera Pavlovna Dyakonova (1927–2011).


Special Interest Groups (SIGs):


1) Historiographical aspects of the interaction of archeology and ethnography in the reconstruction of ancient and medieval history, including: personalities, author's approaches, research problems. Section “In Memoriam” is included;
2) Ethnoarchaeological research: theory, methodology, sources of ethnoarchaeology, the research field of an ethnoarchaeologist, and the conceptual apparatus of ethnoarchaeology;
3) The results of practical work in the field of integration of historical disciplines, including archeology, ethnography, as well as other humanitarian and natural sciences and historical reconstruction.


The topic of focus of the symposium is INTEGRATION OF SCIENCES IN HISTORICAL RECONSTRUCTIONS: RESULTS AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS

Dear colleagues!


When selecting papers for participation in the symposium, the Organizing Committee gives priority to papers in the field of integration of sciences, rather than individual papers, say, in archeology and ethnography, even if using data from related sciences.
To reflect the regional specifics, we ask you to pay special attention to research in the field of historical reconstructions of the ancient and medieval cultures of Siberia and adjacent territories. Works on other regions of the world in the context of the above topics are acceptable.


To participate in the symposium, you must submit an application by February 01, 2022 indicating the topic of the speech, information about the author (last name, first name, patronymic in full, place of work, position, academic degree and title, work and home address, phone numbers, e-mail ) and until April 01, 2022 materials (articles) for publication in the collection, which is planned to be published before the start of the symposium. You have to register on the conference website (http://conf.nsc.ru/integr2022/ru) to submit your application and the article. All articles will undergo preliminary review for scientific content and compliance with the symposium topics.  All registration problems can be addressed to  the organizing committee at the e-mail addresses given below. General guidance on registration will be posted in the News section, primary information can be obtained there.

Updates of the symposium will be posted on the symposium website (http://conf.nsc.ru/integr2022/ru) in the "News" section and subject headings on the site and on the website of the Department of Ethnography, Anthropology, Archeology and Museology of the Dostoevsky Omsk State University.  (http://ethnography.omsu.ru), as well as on electronic resources - the Tyumen Scientific Center of the SB RAS.

Upon completion of the symposium and the publication of materials, the organizing committee plans to post electronic versions of the participants' reports on the website of the Department of Ethnography, Anthropology, Archeology and Museology of the Dostoevsky Omsk State University (http://ethnography.omsu.ru).
By registering on the conference website, the author thereby agrees with the publication of the article on the Internet and its placement in the RSCI bibliographic database.
The organizing committee reserves the right to reject materials that do not correspond to the specified topics or the requirements for registration.
